I do not want to use the installation kit that uses the U bolt around the tail shaft. I have 1 steel and 2 different aluminium adapters for the shifter and I still can not get it to work.

I don''t remember where I saw it, but it was a newly designed 5 speed tranny that had 2 style of gear ratios one was the m20 and m22 gear ratios and the other was m21 gear ratios. I believe the case even looked different from a muncie with an internal shifter vs the external of the muncies.
